PDF Print E-mail

June 28-July 23 (Four Weeks)*

VTVLC will be offering an online, four-week credit-recovery program that begins on June 28, 2010. This program allows students to pretest and identify specific content areas within the course to complete with the support of a Vermont licensed teacher. All courses will be offered online and do not require the student to attend class in person.

VTVLC online credit recovery program is for students

  • who need to make up credits to graduate on schedule;
  • have other commitments and need flexible scheduling;
  • could benefit from a different learning environment.

VTVLC-trained teachers conduct the online classes, which are designed to equate to approximately 90-120 minutes of instruction per day. Students can take VTVLC Summer School courses any time, any place, allowing for greater flexibility in their summer plans.

Summer School courses are offered during this four-week sessions and are designed to provide students with enrichment or credit recovery for one high school semester. VTVLC also offers an extension to the four-week program for students who may require more flexibility.

The four-week session registration fee is $150. *The extended session fee of $75 allows students to take up to an additional 2 weeks (6 weeks total) to complete the program. Seats are limited, so register early. You will be notified on June 18 if the class you have chosen will not run due to low enrollments.

Credit Recovery

It is the responsibility of the student to determine their school's acceptance of VTVLC credit for credit recovery. The session is designed to supplement the previously received course work instructed at the students’ home school to recover one high school semester course.

Please note the summer enrollment period begins on May 11th, 2010 and ends on June 18, 2010. If a student elects to drop their course, no refunds will be granted after classes have begun.
