Course Description:

Ready to get outdoors with the Outdoor Education Course? Focusing on activities like hunting and
paddle sports, the Outdoor Education Course takes physical education to the next level, preparing you
for a lifetime of safe and fun enjoyment of the great outdoors.
Using videos, graphics, animations, and interactive learning exercises, the Outdoor Education Course will
teach you important skills for staying safe while participating in outdoor activities. Students will learn
proper procedures for safely experiencing wildlife and participating in outdoor sports, as well as be
introduced to concepts like habitat preservation, conservation, survival skills and environmental
stewardship.
What’s more? By meeting all of the requirements of the course, you will have also earned most of the
qualifications necessary to obtain your Vermont Hunter Education Certification.
