Today was another very full day. This morning we studied Marine Geology of Bermuda. Bermuda was formed about 100 million years ago as a volcano in the Atlantic. It eroded and a coral reef was built on top of it capping it with limestone. as the sea rose and fell over 300 feet caves developed. We explored one of those and swam in its an underground lake, and then went “diving into a collapsed cave (sinkhole).
This afternoon we either snorkeled or dove besides two Islands: Cooper and Smith collecting data on fish populations.
Tonight we conducted our first Marine night adventure as we snorkeled again at Whalebone Bay. See this sight later for photos on this.
