Today we conducted two fish surveys. All agreed they were the best sites so far: Tobacco and Achilles Bays. Most of us were also able to observe an Octopus close to shore for along period of time.
After our snorkel we walked into St. George, saw some historical sites and did a little shopping.
In the afternoon we attended the Lionfish Tournament which is held at BIOS. The place is mobbed for a good cause: to get rid of the invasive lionfish and raise funds for research.
Tonight we snorkel again. Below are some of the organisms we saw.
