Do you want to create your own course…
AND get high school credit for it?!

Now you can!

VTVLC is offering a new program called PASS which stands for Personalized Assessment of Student Standards. You’ll team up with a VTVLC teacher to create a self-designed program that can be project or research-based. We’ll work with your school to ensure you receive graduation credit, and support you through the project!

How to Register for a PASS Project

Registration for PASS is a very individualized process, given the nature of the enrollment. To begin the process, we simply need students to register for the PASS Application course in Maestro (VTVLC’s Student Information System). A representative from VTVLC will be in touch with the student within 5 school days of receipt to review the application.

If you do not already have an account with VTVLC, first you’ll need to create an account. If you do have an account, skip to step 2: Request a Course.

1.) Create an Account – To create an account, visit https://vtvlc.maestrosis.com
For instructions on creating your account, please view this guide: How to Create an Account in Maestro

2.) Request a Course – Select ‘PASS Application’ as your requested course. You will be notified via email once you have been enrolled in the PASS Application course. At that time, you will login to the course to submit your PASS project essay.
For instructions on requesting a course, please view this guide: Request a Course
