Learning Recovery is for students who:
have taken a course previously, but not received credit. This program works best for students who need to make up credits to graduate on schedule, have other commitments and need flexible scheduling, could benefit from a different learning environment.
On Demand is for students who:
are taking a course for the first time to earn high school credit. This program works best for students who would like to graduate early, could use flexibility in their schedule for the upcoming school year &/or could benefit from an enrichment program.
- Six week session: June 28, 2017 – August 8, 2017
- Optional Two week extension: August 9, 2017 – August 22, 2017
- Time commitment of approximately 2 hours per day, 5 days a week
It is the responsibility of the student to determine their school’s acceptance of Learning Recovery. The session is designed to supplement the previously received course work instructed at the students’ home school to recover the high school course credit.
This program allows students to pretest and identify specific content areas within the course to complete with the support of the teacher.
- Courses begin on the 1st and 15th of the month
- Course requests must be submitted 7 days prior to the start of classes
- Students have up to 6 months to complete 0.5 credit enrollment
Students must progress through the course, have consistent communication with their teacher and submit a Status Report on the 1st and 15th of every month in order to remain eligible. Students may change their pacing during their enrollment, but must complete all requirements before their course end date. Students who do not complete all requirements by the enrollment end date will need to pay for an 8-week extension to complete their coursework.

Refunds will not be granted if a student elects to drop a course after the first day of the session.

$500 / 0.5 credit for out of state students
Refunds will not be granted if a student elects to drop a course after 10 days of the semester.
All on demand and learning recovery courses will be offered online and do not require the student to attend class in person.
Students can take courses any time, any place, allowing for greater flexibility in their summer plans.
All courses are facilitated by Vermont licensed educators.
Summer programs are not covered by the VTVLC partnership agreement.
