VTVLC Founder’s Scholarship

Each year, VTVLC awards two graduating seniors who have successfully completed a VTVLC course, who exemplifies the characteristics of courage, compassion, and initiative, a scholarship for their use in college or career.

Scholarship History

VTVLC’s Founder’s Scholarship was created in honor of Jeff Renard, who had a vision to provide education to all Vermont students regardless of location, while breaking through barriers and establishing a new approach to learning in Vermont. Jeff’s forward-thinking, initiative, and compassion for students has led VTVLC to serve over 10,000 students.

For over fifteen years, VTVLC has met the demand for students across the state who thrive in the virtual learning pathway. Students are able to complete their graduation requirements by utilizing VTVLC’s virtual learning programs that are available to help schools and their students.
